The NC Laws, Rules, and Legal Concepts is one of the three 30-classroom hour mandatory Postlicensing courses that must be completed by newly licensed North Carolina provisional brokers within three years after licensure. The primary objective of the course is to provide instruction at a level beyond that provided in Prelicensing courses on topics deemed to be of special importance to licensees.
*See NCREC for more information regarding the Post course requirements changes as of July 2020.
Topics addressed in this course include commercial real estate brokerage, residential property management, land use controls, loan fraud, brokerage compensation issues, license law issues and case studies, selected fair housing issues and case studies, establishing a brokerage firm, manufactured and modular homes, and issues relating to short sales. Note: provisional brokers can NOT get post license credit for the new POST 303: NC Law, Rules, and Legal Concepts IF they have already taken the old Selected Topics.
Classes are Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from 8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. starting Tuesday, February 4 at our Hampstead location. Kristy Hardy will be teaching this class.
