The Real Estate General Update Course is a required four-hour annual class for licensees who are NOT designated as BIC-eligible and who wish to maintain their license on “Active” status with the North Carolina Real Estate Commission. Topics Include fair housing, contracts, cybersecurity, law and rule updates, licensing and education.
This course will be taught by Seth Chauncey on Thursday, February 11th from 8:30am – 5:30pm.
For the Good of All: The REALTOR Code of Ethics (#3639)
REALTORS® are required to complete ethics training of no less than 2.5 hours of instructional time within three-year cycles. The current 3-year COE cycle is January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2021. This 4 hour elective course meets the COE requirements set forth by NAR as well as 4 elective hours required for license renewal. While the focus of CE course is on the “conduct” of REALTORS®, that is, the Articles and Standards of Practices as found in the REALTOR® Code of Ethics, it also address the Professional Standards Enforcement mechanisms allowed for in the NAR “Code of Ethics and Arbitration” manual.
This course will be taught by Seth Chauncey on Thursday, February 11th from 1:30pm – 5:30pm.
